Philippe Mermod lives near Berne, Switerland. Born in the wildness of the Jura montains, he has been influenced by the heritage of Courbet. His paintings areimpressionnists with a Cezanian influence.
Since his earliest childhood, he expressed himself though drawings. favori. He loves painting portraits and landscapes. Even though he does not particularly like still lifes, he is doing in this categary too.
He paints with oil colours, and sometimes with pastels. He has followed the Courses of the ABC school of drawing from Paris and various private schools.
