PETR KAVAN (born in 1949) lived for several years in Mala Lhota in the area of the Czech republic called Bohemian Paradise, whe he created wooden sculptures and marionettes. At present, he has been working for the five years in Southern India, looking for the links between his own convictions and the tradition and cultural heritage of the country in which his art is being created, combining, in an unusual manner, two refined indian materials: black granite and bronze.
