Since her childhood,Josette Mercier spent most of her leisure time drawing.She was always fascinated by the art world through different ways. Here are some examples, taking photographs during severals years, she decided to try china painting after. Still looking for another way to express herself (artistic way) she gave up china painting and decided finally to attempt to a watercolor course. All that happened in 1990. Extremely keen on it, she carries on with many courses and discovered that the art world was really hers. Fond of nature, she feels at ease by painting landscapes. Being always in touch with nature, light always seems so magical for her that each time it catches her imagination at a simple glance.
