Ilsa Klingelhöfer was born in 1940, in Hannover, Germany. She studied Arts at the University for Arts & Design in Hannover from 1958 to 1962 - textiledesign under the guidance of prof. Gertrud Günther.Further she studied painting and creative design (prof.Scheuernstuhl and Helmut Rogge). She finished her studies with distinction. After many years of being occupied with textile design and her own clothes shop she started to paint again in 1975. She fell in love with aquarelle in which she has quickly found her own typical handwriting. Her main themes are beautiful flowers and imaginative landscapes. Her lovely flowers bouquets and dreamy landscapes have achieved a worldwide recognition and she has become very popular painter in the art market. Ilsa Klingelhöfer is excellent in not easy aquarelle technique which can shine mostly in flowers and landscapes painting especially because of its transparence, ligthness and hidden magic. Visitors of Ilsa Klingelhöfer exhibitions don´t hesitate to praise her lovely pictures in words like "Beautiful, sweet and feminine....". Do you desire your sole caress?
