Eva Jandejskova, born in 1947 in Prague, has been producing mostly ceramics after finishing her studies of design and decorative ceramics at Art and Industry School in Uherske Hradiste. She has become famous by her original wall and hanging vases, candlestands and the sets of superb forms. All her ceramics artworks have attracted everybody mostly by their form nattiness, elegant colours and clever combination of purposefulness and fantasy. Ceramics tiles, pictures, plastics and large mosaics were in the beginning of nineties replaced by pictures. It was the time she started to look for the new self-realization. For that purpose she has established newly combined oil and wax technique (encaustic). That new technique have enriched her expression-stop and theme choice. Not loosing her beauty attribute, poetic and lyrical "handwriting" her pictures have got some kind of dramatics. Ceramics and pictures of Eva Jandejskova are included in many Czech and foreign private collections because she has organized plenty of successful exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad as well e.g. German, France, Hungary, Holland, Austria, Italy etc.. Eva Jandejskova is able to communicate to the people by means of her artworks, she can transfer her mental and emotional values to them and she allows them to hear her inner message or intimate whispers. She likes to use a wide spectrum of themes from the motives of fairy tales, including antique, biblical images, literature and mystical symbolism.
