Belinda's paintings transform a spiritual art through poetic vibrant colors, as the only element of value, into a visual compelling and dramatic experience.
This transformation allows the display of perceptions, sensations and emotions that carry the observer to an apparent tranquility while meeting the delirious happiness represented by expressing the essence of our observations and feelings through lighting and contrast perspectives.
The artist has been working with acrylic medium since the beginning of her career developing work of whimsical, very strong abstract and still life contemporary composition styles.

BELINDA FLORES-SHINSHILLAS
1967 Born in Mexico City.
1983 Studied the disciplines of oil painting and naturalist drawing with Argentinean professor Dolores Bermudez.
1986 Studied human figure drawing with professor Sergio Alonso in the Centro Novarte, Mexico City.
1989 Studied at the atelier of muralist professor Manuel Guillen in the disciplines of human figure drawing and acrylic techniques of the Mexican School of Painting.
1990 Attended the course " Painting of the XX Century - Historic Beginning and Consequences" with Dr. Teresa del Conde at the Rufino Tamayo Museum, Mexico City.
1990 Attended the National School of Visual Arts (Old Academy of San Carlos), Mexico City.
1991 Studied at the atelier of professor Begona Zorrilla (National School of Visual Arts) developing a project of mixed techniques in painting.
1992 Studied at the atelier of Gilberto Aceves ( National School of Visual Arts ) in the disciplines of free drawing.
1993 Studied the course Social Art and Literature History at the National School of Visual Arts, Mexico City.
1994 Attended the course " Women in the Mexican Visual Arts" with Leticia Ochairan, Mexico City.
1994 Studied at the atelier of professor Luis Rene de Alva at the National School of Visual Arts, Mexico City.
