My work
Adress of MINOMUSI ART STUDIO A sketch of MINOMUSI's life In Japanese,"MINOMUSI" means "the Bagworm". The old and famous japanese writter, SEISHOUNAGON, once said in a book (MAKURANOSOUSI), "The Bagworm is the child of the Goblin" . I think she saw a Bagworm's Wear made by wood leaves, as Goblin Wear. When a naked Bagworm is put in colored paper, he has a beautiful colored dress. I like the bagworm for other reason also. The Bagworm is a moth larve , but Female Bagworm don't become Moths. The female bagworm is a worm all of her life. She lays her eggs and turn dies inside the bag. A Hatched Larves First Meal is his Mother's body, and he uses a portion of his mother's bag to make his own bag. The life of the bagworm has made a deep impression to me. I am going to grapple with paper cutting , and work to make new and beatiful shapes. I will hand down to my descendent these important works ,and there by transmit a part of myself as well. And with this hope I will call my Studio "Minomusi". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adress of MINOMUSI ART STUDIO adress code 510-0304 No.2880 Shiroyasiki Ueno Kawageichou Ageigun Mieken Japan Tel & Fax (samenumber) 059-245-1194 Japan E-mail minomusi@ztv.ne.jp MINOMUSI ART STUDIO is in Kawageichou not Suzuka.
